Mark Curtis Biography
Mark Curtis is an American journalist, author, and political analyst who currently serves as the anchor for 12 News at 5, 6, and 10 alongside Caribe Devine. Curtis worked for 12 News for over two decades and won 13 Emmys. a Murrow and two AP Awards for Best Anchor throughout her career.
Marco participated in the University of Georgia and graduated from american university. He made his first on-air appearance in the Valley in June 1980. During the days, Curtis traveled the country covering sports for 12 News.
Additionally, Mark holds a BA in Broadcast Communication from Marquette University and an AS in Computer Studies from the Community College of Rhode Island (2016). Furthermore, he joined the University of Florida for his Masters in Mass Communication at the University of Florida.
He worked for the station until 1987, when he moved to Minneapolis to work as sports director for ABC affiliate KSTP, covering the Minnesota Twins’ run up to the 1987 World Series.
