Megan Boone is an American television actress who is best known for her role as Elizabeth Keen in the television series The Blacklist. Boone is also a businesswoman who owns her own organic clothing line. She also had a recurring role on Law & Order: LA and an episodic appearance on Blue Bloods.
Born and raised in Michigan, Megan attended Belleview High School and graduated in 2001. In 2005, she graduated from Florida State University’s School of Theater with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Acting. She studied with Jane Alexander and Edwin Sherin at the Asolo Repertory Theater and worked with playwright Mark Medoff.
In late 2017, Megan started her MBA in Sustainability from Bard College.

In 2013, she starred in the popular television series, The Blacklist. Her role in the blacklist made her a household name in the United States. She further asserted her role when she played FBI agent Elizabeth Keen in 161 episodes of the TV series from 2013 to 2011.
However, her recent absence from the recent episode of the series has caused a lot of speculation that the actress could be leaving the series. Confirming speculation, it was announced that Boone would be leaving The Blacklist after eight seasons. This was an announcement made on June 15, 2021.
