Cassandra Webb is an American journalist who currently works at FOX 16 News, KARK 4, Nexstar Media Group, as a 9pm weekend news anchor. She also reports during the week. Webb joined the station’s staff in October 2020 and is always excited to call Arkansas home again.

Cassandra started her career in television news at KTXS in Abilene, Texas. Her work there won a Texas Associated Press Broadcasters Award for Reporting of General Attribution. Furthermore, she anchored the #1 morning news show in the market.

Later, in September 2015, she went on to anchor and produce the 5pm news show on WRBL in Columbus, Georgia, and left the station in May 2016.

Additionally, she continued and served as a reporter for an online news organization in Washington, D.C. Several stories she wrote during the 2016 presidential election reached millions of readers.

Webb then went to Sacramento, California where he managed special projects for KTXL-FOX 40 News from May 2019 to March 2020. His work in Sacramento on behalf of a family desperate for the remains of their loved ones to return home from Monday World War II earned him the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Regional Major Markets Award for Outstanding Reporting. Cassandra attended and graduated Angelo State University in 2004 with a BA in Journalism. She later enrolled in the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and graduated with a Masters in Journalism in 2008 while working as a public school and marketing professor for the USAF.
