The band took a short break after nearly two years of touring before returning to the studio to create their third album, Breach. In 2001, he began writing for the Wallflowers’ fourth album, Red Letter Days. In July 2004, the band went into the studio to record their fifth album, Rebel, Sweetheart, following shows in the United States and Europe. The Wallflowers and their former record label, Interscope Records, parted ways in 2005.
She started doing solo concerts in 2006, however she toured extensively with the Wallflowers at various times between 2007 and 2009. Seeing Things and Women + Country are her two solo albums which were released in 2088 and 2010 respectively. The latter, which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard 200, was her highest-charting album since the Wallflowers’ Bringing Down the Horse in 1996.
