Tina Cervasio is an American sports anchor who currently serves as the main sports anchor for Good Day New York on Fox 5 NY WNYW. She is also the host of Sports Extra on Sunday nights at 10:30 am in New York City.
A New Jersey native, Tina graduated from the University of Maryland in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. At the University of Maryland, she worked on the campus radio station WMUC and hosted a sports show Terrapin Time Out on the university’s television station.
After graduation, Tina worked as a reporter and presenter on the NFL Sunday Ticket, Animal Planet, ESPN2, FSN New York, Sunshine Network and The New Jersey Fishing Show on CN8. She gained radio experience through her service at WFAN in New York, reporting for the NFL on Sports USA Radio and as a substitute sports anchor on the show Imus in the Morning on MSNBC and WFAN.
