John Hendricks is an American Emmy-nominated journalist, anchor and reporter currently serving as a reporter on FOX 12 since July 2016. He has also served as a multimedia reporter for KXLY-TV in Spokane. Hand was honored for his work as a visual journalist in 2015 and 2016 by NATAS Northwest with two Emmy nominations as a video journalist.
Hendricks is an Emmy-nominated columnist and local Oregon resident who joined the FOX Team 12 in July 2016. John began his career in the fall of 2009 in Bend, Oregon at KTVZ, where he served as a morning producer before becoming a night reporter. While in Bend, he covered everything from devastating blizzards to rapidly spreading wildfires.
In June 2014, John moved to Spokane, where he served as a multimedia reporter for KXLY-TV. During his time there, he covered the summers that followed, destroying flashes of fire in focal Washington and a memorable windstorm in November that left thousands without electricity for a long time in eastern Washington.
In 2015 and 2016, John was named a multimedia writer by NATAS Northwest with two provincial Emmy picks as a video columnist. In the fall of 2013, John was named a Fellow of the RIAS Berlin Commission Trade Program for American Journalists by the RTDNF. He went to Berlin, Eurfort, Frankfurt and Brussels to research news, legislative and cultural issues.
