Morgan Brennan is an American journalist who currently serves as the co-anchor of CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” show, which broadcasts live from the New York Stock Exchange. Previously, she was the co-anchor of CNBC’s “Squawk Alley,” which airs weekdays from 11 am to 12 pm ET.
Brennan joined the station in December 2013 as a general assignment reporter based at CNBC’s global headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, and continues to cover a variety of industries including manufacturing, defense and space.
Prior to joining CNBC, Morgan was a writer and reporter for Forbes Media, where she reported for Forbes.com, Forbes Magazine and ForbesLife Magazine. This was after she started her career at Forbes in 2009 holding various positions including anchor/reporter and producer for Forbes Video Network. She has also covered a wide range of business and finance topics.
Prior to joining, Morgan was a regular guest on a variety of networks discussing business and economic stories. She also interned at Newsweek International, where she was a fact checker and contributing writer.
