Cameron Polom is an award-winning American journalist who currently works as a reporter and anchor on ABC15 since joining the station in July 2017. Prior to joining the current station, he worked for ABC Action News in Tampa, Florida where he was the 2015 and 2016 Associated Press Multimedia Journalist of the Year. In addition, he has won several other awards for breaking news and local investigators.
Prior to working in Tampa, he reported for NBC affiliate KSBY News in San Luis Obispo, California, where he won an Emmy. Regarding his training, he graduated in Arizona State Walter Cronkite School and also studied finance at ASU. Prior to becoming a journalist, Cameron spent six years as a financial advisor for JP Morgan Chase working in Scottsdale, Tempe and Phoenix. In his spare time he can be found playing golf, walking, laughing with friends and finding his way to the ocean.
