Jamie Yuccas is an Emmy Award-winning American journalist who currently works at CBS News, Los Angeles as a correspondent. Yuccas joined the station’s staff in September 2015 as a correspondent for CBS Newspath in New York. In addition, his reporting was broadcast on all CBS News broadcasts and platforms.
During her time at CBS News, she covered various stories such as the Orlando Pulse Club shooting, the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Official Mission.
Previously, before joining CBS News, Jamie served as a morning anchor and general reporter at WCCO-TV in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She served for the station from June 2011 to August 2015. While there, she happily won two Emmy Awards and contributed reporting to the CBS Evening News and CBS This Morning for reporting in the Midwest, remembering floods for Minot, Dakota. Northern Minnesota state government closure, as well as winter and weather. Furthermore, she won an Emmy for her coverage of Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
