Layron Livingston is an Emmy-winning American journalist and currently works as an anchor and reporter for WPLG Local 10 News. He joined the WPLG team in January 2016 as a reporter and consumer advocate with their regular segment Leave it Layron. Livingston co-anchores the weekend morning news alongside Neki Mohan.
Despite joining the station, he previously worked at the WHIO-TV Dayton news station as an anchor and reporter. On WHIO, he reported on news such as the heroin and prescription drug epidemic in southwest Ohio, which won him an Emmy Award in 2014. Previously, Layron anchored and reported on KLTV Tyler, located in Texas.
Also, while he was still on campus, he reported for the student-run television station. Fortunately, he became a production assistant at NBC’s local Austin affiliate.
