Dan Nathan is an American social media personality who currently serves as the Director of RiskReversal Media in New York, United States. It was founded in 2016 and offers advisory services to investment banks, investment advisors and private companies.
He spent much of his 25-year career as an equity and options trader, first in hedge funds (SAC, Cheyne and Exis Capital), then in Merrill Lynch’s equity derivatives group, and finally as a sole proprietor.
In addition, Nathan has also been a regular speaker on CNBC’s Options Action from 2009 to 2019 and on CNBC’s Fast Money since 2011. He also served as Director of Equity Derivatives at Merrill Lynch from January 2009 to April 2009.
