The web is crushed after former Queensland home state mentor and rugby association star Paul Green died aged 49.
Paul Green is a proficient rugby association football coach of Australia who was Queensland’s head coach in the State of Origin series and an experienced rugby association football player who played during the 1990s and 2000s.
As a mentor, he steered the North Queensland club to its most memorable prevalence in 2015. He was Queensland’s home state and Australian global midfielder.

Green played at a high level for 10 years with stints with the Cronulla Sharks, North Queensland Cowboys, Sydney Roosters, Parramatta Eels and Brisbane Broncos. He also played seven State of Origin matches for Queensland and two Tests for Australia during the savage Super League battle of the 1990s.
However, it was Green’s chance as a mentor that left his most critical legacy in the NRL, leading the Cowboys to the club’s most memorable prevalence in 2015 and yet another fabulous last in 2017.
By the time he left that occupation last September, he seemed certain he would continue his days as a mentor to the NRL.
