Alia Blackburn is an African-American journalist known for serving as an MMJ Evening Weekend Reporter/Fill Anchor for WXIN/WTTV Fox 59, Indianapolis, Indiana since April 2021. Previously, she worked as a morning co-anchor during the week on WTHI-TV in Terre Haute, Indian area.
Blackburn graduated from Ben Davis High School in 2009, where he found his passion for television in the school’s BDTV show. Furthermore, she graduated in telecom and journalism from Ball State University in 2013. Alia has also been a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Newslink Indiana, Black Student Association, Student Voluntary Services and Trendz of Essence Modeling and Dance Troupe.
