DaBaby Rapper aka Baby Jesus (born December 21, 1991) is an American Rapper and Songwriter from Charlotte, North Carolina. He rose to widespread stardom in 2019 after releasing several mixtapes between 2014 and 2018.
He joined Vance High School from which he graduated in 2010. In 2015, he started his music career with his debut mixtape Nonfiction. He is best known for his single “Suge”, the lead single from his debut studio album Baby on Baby (2019). His other standout singles include Light SHow, First Day Out and Above The Rim, a track on which he featured Money Man.
“Suge” achieved commercial success and peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100. With the success of the single, Baby on Baby, which climbed to number 7 on the Billboard 200, the star released her second studio album Kirk months later.
He pursued this with his mixtape series God’s work, mixtape series Baby Talk, Billion Dollar Baby, and Back on My Baby Jesus Sh*t. It appeared at number one on the US Billboard 200, becoming her first album to top the chart.
