Matt Gephardt is an American journalist who is currently working as an anchor and reporter at KSL-TV since 2020. In addition, he has 20 years of experience and has worked in a wide range of writing jobs.
However, most notably, his professional career began in the business when he was 17 years old, attending high school in Lost Angeles. He got a summer job as a teleprompter operator at the Salt Lake City market. He later moved to Utah where he enrolled at the University of Utah.
After his graduation, his television debut came a few years later, when as a child he was used by an Indianapolis reporter to demonstrate how licensed drugs can be mistaken for candy. In the more than 20 years since then, he has worked on virtually every writing job. He made the leap in front of the cameras as an investigative reporter in 2010.
