Days after refusing to appear at his concert in Tanzania, well-known Nigerian artist Kizz Daniel finally played there. After he quit playing, the horde of fans who had piled up on the scene and spent up to $5,000 (five thousand dollars) were angered.
Despite the way in which the artist claimed that he was not captured, but rather received to approach, the destruction of the area led to his confinement by the Tanzanian police.

The artist was held by experts in Tanzania after the fight and fan outrage over his scratch card. He was shown in a widely circulated video being taken to a patrol car while wearing a hooded coat.
An irate fan could be heard backstage saying; “You’re going to get into this. You’ve done damage to this country. I warned you yesterday.” The artist denied being confined during a public interview on Tuesday after his delivery, assuring that the police were basically addressing him in response to fan activities that previously smeared the scene out of fury at his non-appearance.

“We agreed to put on a show on Friday. A free show. In this regard, I will cooperate with Str8up Vibes. Likewise, I must apologize to the fans. None of this was deliberate. I love my work. Fundamentally, I love acting.
“I didn’t mean to belittle the fans. It was rarely intentional. I needed to act. I came to Tanzania to perform, however, due to certain conditions far beyond my power, we were unable to make that happen. I feel sorry for the people of Tanzania, and I really want to believe that you guys allow me one more opportunity to give you a show, a legit show, a delicious show,” he said.
