Alex Rose’s biography
Alex Rose is an American multimedia journalist currently working as a digital anchor at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. since joining the station in March 2021.
Rose participated Elon University, where he graduated in Broadcast and New Media, Arts, Entertainment and Media Management in 2014. While still at university, he worked at Zinc. TV as a research analyst for three summers as an intern.
In addition, he was a news intern at WXII-TV. While there, he wrote scripts, edited voiceovers, edited and transcribed interviews, and conducted interviews. However, he left the station in August 2013 after working for 4 months.

Rose was vice president of the Society of Professional Journalists. He worked from April 2013 to May 2014. He was also production manager for Elon in the Morning from April 2013 to May 2014 while still at Elon University.
After graduation, he worked as a Multimedia Journalist FOX 44/ ABC 22 for a period of 2 years and a month. While there, he was spreading local news that matters to the community, filming and editing compelling stories for various platforms.
He was also a state reporter and anchor for Local 22 & 44 News. Additionally, he was chief political correspondent for Local 22 (ABC) and Local 44 (Fox) News. Rose also traveled around Vermont reporting on all the issues and how they are being handled in the Legislature.
However, in June 2016, he left the station to join WGHP as a Multimedia Journalist and Substitute Anchor. He worked there for a period of 2 years and left the station in May 2018. He then joined KDVR-FOX31 Denver in June 2018 but left the station in March 2021. He currently works at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. . since he joined the station in March 2021.
