Chad Sabadie is an American journalist who is currently an anchor for WDSU in New Orleans, Louisiana. It anchors the news from 4:30 am to 7 am, Monday through Friday. Chad also becomes attached to WDSU News morning anchor Randi Rousseau and meteorologist Kweilyn Murphy. Prior to joining his current station, he has been a sports anchor on FOX8 since October 2012, after serving five years in Baton Rouge.
Sabadie participated Lake Castle School in Sidell and then went to Pope John Paul II in Slidell for your high school. After high school, he graduated from LSU (Bachelor of Mass Communication in 2003) and USC (Master of Journalism in 2005).
Most notably, he began his television career as a sports director for WABG in Greenville, Mississippi, before moving to WBRZ in Baton Rouge. Serving in southern Louisiana, Sabadie was fortunate to report many Super Bowls, BCS National Championship games, as well as the College World Series.
Following his career journey, Chad has been working full-time in television since 2005 and has been back in southern Louisiana since 2007, reporting from the Baton Rouge and New Orleans markets simultaneously. Currently, Sabadie serves as the morning news anchor at WDSU in New Orleans, Louisiana. In addition, it features news from 4:30 am to 7 am, Monday through Friday.
