Brittany Johnson is an award-winning American journalist currently working at KCRA 3 Investigates. In September 2020, she became part of the KCRA 3 Investigates team. She comes to Sacramento from KTVX in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she worked as a reporter and anchor.
Brittany’s love for investigative and business reporting led her to cooperate with the Utah Attorney General and the United States Marshals Service to provide the public with unprecedented access to the state’s human trafficking and child sex crimes.
Brittany’s work has influenced political change in the past. She realized that slavery was still allowed as a form of punishment in Utah’s constitution. After breaking the news, Utah State Representative Sandra Hollins quickly introduced a measure to remove the provision from the state constitution.
