Dana Greene is an Emmy-nominated American journalist who has been working as a sports reporter at ABC4 Utah since joining the station in 2005. He has twice been named the NSSA Utah Sportscaster of the Year by his peers. Furthermore, he has won several SPJ awards for sports reporting.
Greene is a proud graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. He also played on the university’s lacrosse team. At Taft High in Woodland Hills, Greene played baseball. He started his broadcasting career in Santa Barbara, California.
He later moved to Northern California and worked at KCMP in Chico, before making the decision to move to Fresno. In Fresno, he worked at KMPH. He was then hired by KTVX in 2005, which led him to fall in love with the state of Utah. He has covered every Utah Jazz playoff since 2005 and loves to cover every high school sports across the state.
When he’s off duty, he loves to ski, hike, travel, or spend time with his family. Dana is a huge fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Miami Dolphins.
