JP Dellacamera is an American play-by-play sportscaster primarily for Major League Soccer with the Philadelphian Union. Prior to that, he worked as a play-by-play announcer for all National Team games on the NHL Network during the 2010 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. Additionally, he is one of the few people who has worked for ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX.
During the 1980s, he was the play-by-play announcer for broadcasts of the original Major Indoor Soccer League on ESPN and FNN-Soccer. JP did not announce the call-up for the 2006 World Cup final, with Dave O’Brien replacing him, but collaborated with Tommy Smyth to become the core radio commentator team.
However, he left ESPN in March 2011 to join Fox Soccer as its main MSL platform game commentator. In November 2011, NBC Sports Network signed an agreement with the league to broadcast the league during the 2012 season. He proceeded with his duties for the Philadelphia Union. Furthermore, he became a featured commentator in 2018 along with Tony Meola on FOX and FS1 for their FIFA World Cup United States broadcasts.
