Patrick Flueger Biography
Patrick Flueger (born Patrick John Flueger) is a renowned American actor, best known for a starring role as Shawn Farrell in the television series The 4400. He currently appears as the main character in Chicago PD, playing the role of Adam Ruzek.
Flueger is the oldest of three siblings born in Red Wing, Minnesota. He joined Red Wing High School and graduated in 2002. His first significant role was in the Disney movie The Princess Diaries. He then followed up with several television appearances, including JAG, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and CSI: Miami. He then landed the role of Shawan Farrell in the USA Network series The 4400 from 2004 to 2007.
While still working on The 4400, Patrick landed the role of Rusty in the film The World’s Fastest Indian, starring Antony Hopkins opposite Antony Starr. He was later cast as the American version of the character Starr played in Outrageous Fortune, later renamed in the American version as Scoundrels, airing on ABC during the summer of 2010.
Flueger is slated to appear in several other films such as Blowtorch Film’s You Are Here, Chris Moore’s The Job and Kill Theory. In February 2010, Patrick was among those auditioned for the role of Captain America in the 2011 feature film. Additionally, as of 2011, his performances have been credited using his full name, Patrick John Flueger.
In August 2013, he joined the cast of the Chicago Fire Spin-off Chicago PD as rookie officer Ruzek. The show later premiered on January 8, 2014.
