Alexa Green is an American journalist who is currently the morning reporter for FOX59 and CBS 4 in Indianapolis. She joined the station in June 2017 and is thrilled to be in Hoosier State covering her favorite stories. The Jersey native is a proud graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications.
Before moving to Indiana, Alexa was a reporter for Spectrum News in Binghamton & Syracuse New York, covering stories in some of the snowiest cities in the country.
When she wasn’t out reporting on the snow, Green broke dozens of stories and got exclusive interviews, including one with the mother of prison escapee David Sweat, speaking to her just hours after her son was captured alive. Alexa is also an AP award-winning reporter for her stories about a fatal fire that consumed two young children and the tragic murder of a 21-month-old.
When Alexa isn’t at work, you can find her running around, reading, and trying out new restaurants in her area.
