She also currently works as a reporter at WHIO-TV, Dayton. Letitia was also a radio producer and host of NPR’s Morning Edition.
Perry attended Meadowdale High School. She then enrolled at Central Michigan University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts major in Broadcast/Cinematic Arts and Journalism.
While in her senior year of college, she joined the CMU Public Broadcasting Center staff serving central and northern Michigan. Perry accepted a position at WCBE-FM, Columbus, Ohio in 1992. She worked as a news producer for 3 years at the radio station that was licensed to the Columbus Board of Education.
