Robin Roberts is an American journalist who currently hosts ABC’s Good Morning America. She has been a sports anchor for local radio and TV stations since she grew up in Mississippi and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. For 15 years, Roberts was a sportscaster on ESPN.
Roberts attended Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana, graduating cum laude in 1983 with a degree in communications. She followed in the footsteps of her older sister, Sally-Ann Roberts, an anchor for New Orleans-based CBS-affiliated WWL-TV.
