Lacie Lowry is an American Award-winning journalist who currently works as a reporter and anchor for News 9, KWTV-TV in Oklahoma. She is the station’s Morning News reporter from 5 am to 7 am. Previously, she worked as an anchor for Morning on KGBT-TV in Texas, United States of America.
A native of Oklahoma, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Baylor University. After graduating, she started her career at KTXS-TV in Abilene, Texas. She was the station anchor at 6pm. She later moved to KGBT-TV in Harlingen, Texas where she was the morning anchor.
In 2010, Lowry joined the Griffin Communications family and became the weekend anchor on News On 6 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lowry remained with the company when he moved to News 9 in OKC three years later. She’s covered everything from tornadoes, wildfires and hurricanes in high profile.
When she’s off duty, she loves working with nonprofits and participating in various community panels. In addition, she loves hunting and fishing outdoors in Oklahoma and spending time with her two rescue dogs.
