Eric Flack is an award-winning American journalist who currently serves as the chief investigative reporter for WUSA9 in Washington, DC. He attended the London School in Bethesda, Maryland. While here, he worked on the school newspaper in high school and college, where he was staff writer for the Daily Tar Heel at the University of North Carolina at Chapel-Hill.
In his career, his turning point came on 9/11/2001, when he found himself on vacation in New York after the 9/11 attack on the United States. Flack ran for the World Trade Center arriving moments before the first tower fell. He joined a CBS Network news team and presented Ground Zero reports for the next 4 days.
With more than two decades of experience, his work covering local news was named Best Reporter in Louisville Magazine’s “Best of Louisville” contest. His reports changed policy, exposed government waste and aided law enforcement.
