She also worked in St. Joseph and Springfield, Missouri before heading to WOWT in Omaha, Nebraska in 2011.
Gilardi graduated and qualified from Lyndon State College in Vermont with a BA in Meteorology. She also earned the American Meteorological Society’s Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal. She started chasing Storm in 2008 and even worked for a Storm Company, Extreme Chase Tours.
