Vonnie Quinn is an American journalist, radio host and musician who currently works for Bloomberg Markets at Bloomberg TV in New York. Before finding a position in the journalism industry, she was destined for her music career. She is a classically trained violinist.
Quinn attended and graduated from National University of Ireland before continuing his studies in the United States after winning the NUI Traveling Studentship award. In 2004, she received a grant from the Lorana Sullivan Foundation. Furthermore, this scholarship allowed her to continue with her undergraduate studies at Columbia University in New York. She graduated from the class of 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.
Immediately after graduating, she started working at Bloomberg and her first role was acting as a presenter on Bloomberg radio. She also served as editor for Bloomberg Businessweek. She is currently an anchor at Bloomberg Markets. Before officially joining Bloomberg, she used to write for local newspapers in her own country. In addition, these newspapers include The Anglo-Celt and The Irish Music Magazine.
