Mark Alford is an American journalist who currently works as a news co-anchor at FOX4 News from 6:30 am to 9 am since joining the station in March 1998. Prior to joining FOX4 news, he worked at KPRC-TV in Houston, Texas as weekend anchor and general mission reporter. Alford attended and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Latin American Affairs.
He began his career at KXAN-TV, an ABC and NBC affiliate station in Austin, where he was an anchor and general reporter. Additionally, he worked at WPTV-TV, a CBS-affiliated television station in West Palm Beach, where he served as a general reporter and anchor. He was also a weekend news anchor and general reporter at KWTX-TV, an NBC-affiliated television station in Waco, Texas.
Prior to joining his current station, he worked at KPRC-TV in Huston, Texas as a general anchor reporter. Furthermore, he worked at KDFW-TV in Dallas, Texas where he was a news anchor.
