Carrie Lazarus is an American journalist who currently works as a reporter and anchor on WSYR. She hosts the “Extraordinary People and Places of Downtown New York” and “The Conversation”. Prior to that, she served as a co-anchor of NewsChannel 9.
Lazarus stepped down as co-anchor on March 2, 2020 and no longer hosts the “Family Healthcast”. After her education, she attended college in downtown New York and later graduated with honors.
When she featured the Family Healthcast as one of the nation’s first local daily health and fitness reports, she brought her viewers the latest health, fitness and family news since 1986. She docked NewsChannel 9 at noon, 5 , 5:30 am, and 6 pm daily before her new role.
