Emily Volz is an American journalist who currently works as an anchor and reporter at NBC 10 News. She presents the 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm news. Volz is also the season’s I-Team supporter, reporting on the stories of viewers who feel they have been robbed or wronged. Furthermore, she joined the station in 2015. This was after working for three years at WGGB in Springfield, Massachusetts.
She graduated magna cum laude by University of Connecticut Graduated in Journalism and American Studies in 2010. Subsequently, she interned at WTNH-TV from June 2009 to December 2009.
Prior to joining WGGB, Volz worked as a reporter and anchor for Blue Ridge Communications TV-13, a small cable news station in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.
