Michael Doudna is an American reporter and multi-skilled journalist who currently works at 12 News. He joined the station in June 2018 after serving as a political reporter, leading statewide coverage at four stations in Alabama: WBRC-Birmingham, WAFF-Huntsville, WSFA-Montgomery and WTVM-Columbus.
During her tenure in Alabama, Doudna spearheaded several high-profile political stories with national implications, such as the resignation of Governor Robert Bentley and the Roy Moore scandal. He previously reported and anchored for KOMT-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri.
Michael graduated with honors and an “A” from Milton College, where he was a member of the National Honor Society. He later attended and graduated from the University of Missouri in Colombia with a Bachelor of Journalism Radio and Television.
