Dan Daru is an American journalist who currently works as a reporter for FOX 31 News Denver and Colorado’s Own Channel 2. Daru’s first job was in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as a news photographer. He later joined the Bakersfield, California-based station KBAK and served as chief photographer.
Additionally, Dan was a general assignment reporter on KWGN, Channel 2, and left the station later to join KDVR, Fox 31, Denver as a general assignment reporter.
Daru attended and graduated from Metropolitan State University Bachelor of Communication and Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the same university. In addition, prior to joining Metropolitan University, he attended Red Rocks Community College and obtained a degree of Applied Science in Criminology. Dan also finished high school at John F. Kennedy Middle School.
During Daru’s free time, he enjoys cycling, WWII history, and collecting fun. His favorite story is about the WWII soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division.
