Ron Corning is an American television presenter. His most recent position was at the ABC affiliate WFAA in Dallas, Texas. Additionally, he has co-hosted the WFAA Morning News and Daybreak. Furthermore, he worked as a solo Midday anchor for the WFAA one-hour newscast. He currently works on CW33 as a co-host of Morning After.
Corning studied and graduated from Wheaton College in Massachusetts in 1993 with a degree in history and religion. He started his career as a general reporter for WDTV, an affiliate of CBS. Corning also worked as an anchor and weekend reporter at one of WDTV’s rivals, NBC affiliate WBOY.
His first major market position was at KTVI, the Fox station in St. Louis, Missouri. From there, he went on to work at the Fox affiliate in Seattle, Washington, KCPQ. Furthermore, he worked as a co-anchor for ABC World News This Morning and World News Now from 2004 to August 2006.

After the surgery, he had a straight leg cast that he had to wear for six weeks. Also, he couldn’t drive and had to go to rehab for several months.
