Belkys Nerey is a five-time Emmy-winning journalist currently working as anchor of 7 NEWS at WSVN 7 in Denver, Colorado. Prior to joining 7 News, Nerey worked as a general reporter for WTNH-8. She is best known as the longtime presenter and reporter for 7 NEWS.
Born in Havan and raised on Long Island and Miami, Nerey learned every lesson possible, from piano to ballet to playing. She then began her television career as a reporter for a South Florida cable station. Belkys worked as a one-man band for over two years; filming and editing his own stories before moving to Connecticut to pursue a job as a general reporter for WTNH-8, the ABC affiliate in New Haven.
