Dana Jacobson biography
Dana Jacobson is an American journalist who works for CBS News as a presenter and correspondent. She currently co-hosts CBS Saturday Morning. Jacobson also works for CBS Sports and CBS SportsNetwork as an anchor and reporter. She joined CBS News in 2015 after working at CBS SportsNetwork for two years.
Prior to that, Jacobson worked for ESPN for a decade, from 2002 to 2012. She joined Cold Pizza as a co-host in March 2005 and moved with the show when it became ESPN First Take. She left First Take on December 30, 2011 and returned to SportsCenter as an anchor. Dana announced his departure from ESPN on March 27, 2012, after his contract with the company expired in late April.
Her last day on ESPN was Monday, April 30, 2012, when she docked ET SportsCenter from 6pm to 8pm. In 2000, Dana received a Edward R. Murrow Award and in 1998 was awarded National Outstanding Award.
