Adrienne DiPiazza is an American journalist who currently works as an anchor for FOX 8 as a news reporter. She is thrilled to be making her new home in Cleveland! Dipiazza started working for FOX 8 in September 2017 as a reporter. She spent the previous two years on WGHP-TV in Greensboro, North Carolina, which is the sister station of FOX 8.
Adrienne started her career in North Carolina on a morning show, where she covered breaking news before the sun came up. She later moved on to the night shift, where she covered key state stories such as the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew, the 2016 presidential election, riots in Charlotte, and wildfires in western North Carolina.
Adrienne began her career as a multimedia journalist at WABI-TV5 in Bangor, Maine, where she covered a wide range of topics including car collisions with moose, the lobster industry and of course the harsh winters. She filmed, wrote and edited her own short stories while there. She also rose through the ranks to become a weekend anchor, producer and task editor.
Furthermore, DiPiazza’s passion for television news began when she was a student at Pennsylvania State University. She studied Broadcast Journalism with minors in English and Business at university. DiPiazza worked for the Emmy-winning Center County Report as a reporter, anchor and executive producer. Furthermore, she started her career as an intern at WTAJ-TV in Altoona, Pennsylvania and at WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C.
