Olivia Fierro is an Emmy Award-winning American journalist who currently works as an anchor that you can find waking up Arizona viewers daily on “Good Morning Arizona.” She first joined 3TV in 2003 as a news reporter, just her second on-camera job after serving as a reporter in Amarillo, Texas.
In 2009, Las Vegas became her home as she worked for six years as an anchor for the FOX5Vegas nightly news. She fell in love with the fast-moving news business while working behind the scenes on “Good Day LA”. Moving from an intern to a full-time copywriter, Fierro found “her people,” the curious and the chatty.
Olivia graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in history and women’s studies (now gender studies). After her graduation, she turned to the UCLA Extension Program for broadcast journalism.
