Brian Balthazar is a renowned American television host, comedian and executive producer. On camera, he is a regular guest on the Today Show and The Wendy Williams Show, where he appeared as a guest co-host. Additionally, Balthazar has appeared as a guest on The Talk, and also as a guest presenter on Page Six TV and Food Network.

Also, behind the scenes, Balthazar kicked off NBC’s fourth hour of today’s program with Hoda and Kathie Lee and was a co-executive producer on The View. Balthazar spent more than ten years as a network executive at HGTV, where he oversaw shows such as Love It or List It, House Hunters, Flip or Flop, Christina on the Coast and Flipping 101.

While producing the Today Show, Brian met and worked with Stacy London, host of TLC’s What Not to Wear. During this time, she was developing a late-night talk show called elegantly late with Stacy London.

On her recommendation, Brian met with the show’s producers and became the show’s warm-up comedian, shooting several episodes while continuing as a producer at NBC. He became the warm-up comedian for the 2008 season finale of The Food Network’s Next Star and MTV man and wife with Fatman Scoop.

In the early days of Brian’s on-camera career, he sometimes appeared as an offbeat reporter on both NBC and MSNBC. He was a satirical street correspondent for the 2004 Democratic National Convention for Countdown 2004 with Keith Olbermann 2004.
