Tracy Tong is a Canadian journalist who currently works as a multi-market anchor and producer for Global News in Toronto, Montreal, Halifax and New Brunswick, as well as on Global News’ 24/7 digital streaming service. Prior to her current role, she was a video journalist for CTV News Toronto, covering breaking news from across the city. She joined CTV News in 2016 but left the station in May 2020.
Over the course of her career, she has covered a variety of breaking news in the Greater Toronto Area, as well as Southern and Northern Ontario. Furthermore, she has broken down numerous unique stories and extensively covered high profile crime cases. Tong followed the Toronto Raptors throughout their 2019 NBA championship campaign.
