Colin Mayfield is an American journalist who currently works at WLWT as an anchor and reporter since January 2017. For him, working at WLWT is a dream come true. It mainly reports on the infrastructure, advancement and development of the community. Prior to that, he worked as a Morning and Evening News anchor on station WLKY and Hearst for over three years.
After graduating from high school, he attended Marquette University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast communication and journalism. In college, he was a member of the MU Student Government and the MU Trail. He also served as a reporter and anchor at Marquette University Television, where he anchored MUTV’s first news program and edited and wrote MUTV’s news program.
His professional life began immediately after graduating from Marquette University. He later joined the WSAW Channel as an anchor and reporter in the Wausau, Wisconsin area. He edited and wrote newscasts 10 and 6 and produced newscasts and newscasts over a period of one year and nine months. Currently, he is serving as an anchor at Hearst, WLWT-TV and the NBC affiliate in Cincinnati, Ohio.
