Ashnikko Biography
Ashnikko (born Ashton Nicole Casey) is a famous American singer and rapper who rose to prominence with her 2019 single “Stupid” featuring Baby Tate. The song gained viral popularity on video sharing platform TikTok and was certified gold in the US and Canada. Her debut mixtape Demidevil was released on January 15, 2021.
Born in Oak Ridge, Northern California, she became interested in music at a very young age. Her parents also played an important role in her departures. They exposed her to country music and Slipknot. At age 10, she heard Arular by MIA and was instantly interested in rap. She claims she never listened to male artists until she was 16.
Her family moved to Estonia, but when she was 18 she moved to London on her own. Her first song was Krokodil which was produced by Raf Riley and published on SoundCloud in July 2016. Ashnikko released her first EP, Sass Pancakes in 2017, which was produced by Raf Riley and details Avelino’s guest appearances.
Over the next two years, she produced her second and third EP, Unlikeable and Hi It’s Me in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Later, she even co-wrote the song “Boss Bitch” with Dija Cat, and the track was included in the film Birds of Pray. In March 2020, she released the standalone single, “Tantrum” and later that month she performed it live as part of The Fader’s Digital Fader Fort event.
Her debut mixtape Demidevil was released on January 15, 2021. She recently co-wrote the song “Frost”, released on May 31, 2021, which features in Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together.

Ashnikko has cited her musical influences as MIA, Gwen Stefani, Lil’ Kim, Björk, Paramore, Avril Lavigne, Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott, Dolly Parton, Janis Joplin and Joan Jett. Furthermore, she stated that her favorite song is “Bossy” by Kelis.
