Connor Swindells is an English actor who started his career in the mid-2010s and rose to prominence for playing Adam Groff in Sex Education (2019-present). After his mother’s death he moved to West Chiltington with his father until later moving to Billingshurst.
He attended Rydon Community College and Steyning Grammer School, but dropped out of college at age 17. Connor got into acting when he saw an audition poster for a local play and his friend challenged him to audition and actually got the lead role. He subsequently acted in two more local plays and landed an agent at the end of the third play.
In 2017, he guest starred in an episode of Harlots, playing Mastyn, and also appeared in an episode of the Sky One drama Jamestown as Fletcher. In the same year, he was cast to replace Joe Alwyn as Donald in The Vanishing. Connor starred as Adam on VS in 2018. He then landed his famous role as Adam Groff on Sex Education.
