Biography of Rick Folbaum
Rick Folbaum is an American journalist widely recognized for appearing as an anchor for CBS46 WANF News in Atlanta. Previously, he worked as a freelance reporter for CNN News and a correspondent for FOX News Channel in New York before moving back to Atlanta. Rick even worked as an anchor and reporter for another CBS News affiliate in Atlanta called WGCL News. he also made several appearances as a guest host on a late-night FOX show called Ted Eye w\Greg Gutfield.
Folbaum was born and raised in a working-class family living in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He grew up as a very active boy who enjoyed playing football while showing his interest in becoming a reporter at a very young age. Rick finished his high school education at Cherry Hill High School West in his hometown. He then earned a degree in journalism from the SI New House School of Public Communication at Syracuse University.
After college, Folbaum officially began his career as a journalist, becoming a writer for MSNBC while appearing as a radio host for WOR-AM news in New York City. Eventually, Rick left MSNBC and WOR-Am to work as an anchor for FOX News. Main segments of it were FOX News Live and Saturday FOX Reports. He also worked as a fill-in anchor for FOX’s Shepard Smiths shows whenever he was off work.
Rick’s hard work saw him become a co-anchor at one of FOX’s flagship studios in New York City called WNYW from 2006 to 2009. He then left FOX News in 2013 and joined WFOR News in Miami as a news anchor. He left WFOR in 2018 and joined CNN news in 2019. Rick was the 2019 anchor for CBS 46 News.
