Scott Van Pelt is a famous American sportscaster and sports talk show host. Additionally, he also co-anchored the 11pm edition of Sportscenter on ESPN and worked as a co-host for SVP and Russillo.
As for education, Scott attended Flower Valley Elementary School in Rockville, Maryland. He later graduated from and entered Sherwood High School in Sandy Springs, Maryland. Furthermore, after completing high school, he attended the University of Maryland where he studied radio/television and film and graduated in 1988.
Pelt began his career in broadcasting in the early 1990s. He worked at several stations, including Washington’s Fox affiliate WTTG-TV, as well as the Golf Channel. He has been a studio host for some of the network’s top shows. However, he left the channel in 2001 to join ESPN, working as a sportscaster.
