Lacie Lowry is an award-winning American journalist who currently works as a reporter and anchor at News 9, KWTV-TV in Oklahoma. She is the station’s Morning News reporter from 5 to 7 am. Previously, she worked as a Morning Anchor at KGBT-TV in Texas, United States of America.
A native of Oklahoma, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Baylor University. After graduating, she began her career at KTXS-TV in Abilene, Texas. She was the station’s 6 p.m. anchor. She later moved to KGBT-TV in Harlingen, Texas, where she was the morning anchor.
In 2010, Lowry joined the Griffin Communications family and became a weekend anchor at News On 6 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lowry continued with the company when she moved to News 9 in OKC three years later. She covered everything from tornadoes, wildfires and hurricanes to top-notch newscasts.
When she is away from her duties, she loves working with non-profit organizations and serving on various community boards. Additionally, she enjoys hunting and fishing outdoors in Oklahoma and spending time with her two rescue dogs.
