Toi Thorton is an American journalist who currently works as a traffic anchor for WBRC fox 6 News (August 2020). He previously served at Spring Hill College as an adjunct professor. Toi has also worked at KLAF/KADN as an anchor and reporter.
He began his journalism career at FOX8 WVUE in New Orleans as a Production Assistant while completing his undergraduate degree. Toi also interned at WDSU and the NBC affiliate in New Orleans for 2 semesters. His first on-air debut was in Alexandra, Louisiana in 2014 at KALB. Additionally, Thorton was also a FOX weekday journalist at WALA FOX10 in 2016, in Mobile, Alabama for 3 years.
