Steven Levitan is an American actor, producer, writer, director, and former television journalist who gained national recognition for creating hit sitcoms such as Modern Family, Just Shoot Me!, Stark Raving Mad, and Back To You. He is also the lead director and creator of an ongoing 2022 TV series called Reboot. Levitan gained further fame as a producer in the early 1990s for his work on shows such as Max Glick, Frasier and The Larry Sanders Show in 1995.
