Gary Sadowsky is an American meteorologist who currently works as a meteorologist at WCAX in Burlington, Vermont. He joined WCAX in 1992 as a weekend weatherman, then moved to weekdays at 11pm and later to Channel 3 Early Morning News. Before that, he was the manager of a bike shop.
Born in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, he earned his first degree from the University of Minnesota. After graduating with a Bachelor of Philosophy, he worked as a bike shop manager, but soon realized that his passion was actually the weather. After that, he attended Lyndon State College in Lyndonville and received his bachelor’s degree in meteorology.
In addition, he holds the prestigious Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation from the American Meteorological Society and the TV and Rado Seal of Approval. He started at WCAX in 1992 as a weekend weatherman and then moved to 11pm on weekdays.
